From its humble beginnings in a small Russell workshop to an ever-expanding yard in Opua’s Commercial Estate, Bay of Islands Marine Centre has become one of the biggest boating and fishing stores in Northland. Lazercraft, Buccaneer, Surtees, Kiwi-Kraft and Smartwave boats are all available here, as well as the ever-reliable Yamaha outboard.

Bay of Islands Marine Centre has been a boat, motor and chandlery business for over 15 years. In 2006, Chris and Manuela leased a bigger yard and showroom, enabling them to include an impressive fishing tackle display. Since then the yard has been steadily expanding and has recently added Surtees to its list of high quality boat agencies.
